RE: How many people banking $$?
I'm making some cash flipping sites on Flippa.
Can't call it a fortune, but around 3-4 figures a month or so.
Currently there are hard times, maybe people spent a bank on their valentine and have no cash to buy websites, could be possible.
Ebay India is a douchebag if you ask me because people bid for fun and change their minds when they win the auction, even when they have 20+ feedback, which IMO is totally shit.

RE: How many people banking $$?
I've been making about £1,000 per month flipping. I have never made any money with sites on eBay, they are all too tight to part with their cash lol.

Heres what I do:

1. Build a niche site, mine are all seo reselling because that's my main business (so I get backend sales). Use PLR content.
2. drive traffic to it
3. make a few sales so it has revenue
4. Pop it on flippa (and some others) and make the sale

My site that was created for around £20 usually sells for about £150 - £450 depending on the site. The best part is I get backend sales AND hosting fee's Wink

I flip Social Media Reseller sites. (Facebook likes, pins etc.,)

@Bluefrog,
Thats pretty good Wink, milk in before the cow gets old.
But as you sell sites that throw revenue, it should be pretty easy to sell.
Ebay and websites never make a happy couple, so its a waste of time.

@the1world
If you list it as a new website on flippa, they charge $9 and not $29 but the success fee is a bit on the higher side.

@the1world, pm me your site details and I'll see if I can help Smile

@Montsa, yup, it's easy selling a site which they earn from Smile Especially when the earnings can hit triple figures in their first month if they promote it well.

RE: How many people banking $$?
So you drive traffic by ranking the website or you get it in some other way? I fear that people on flippa wouldn't gladly buy if they have to work to get traffic, whereas if they just get it "passively" because the site is ranking on google they will buy it much faster. I don't have much experience with this though, i only sold 400-500$ worth of websites over there with some good luck i think (the site didn't have any revenue and wasn't ranking on google), so that's why i'm asking Smile

RE: How many people banking $$?
Hey Taur.

Well because the sites I sell are essentially a business they can use for a new start up or add on to an existing business I have less problems of that kind.

However, I always use other methods of traffic to 'bump up' the site. This is not aimed at veteran purchasers at all, only the newbies who don't really understand what they are looking at. The reason? Simple, because I offer white label seo, they can simply use their 50% discount to buy some actual white hat organic results to build their website, which they normally do lol

So long as I can show revenue through the site, that's the important part, and that revenue can come from lots of sources providing it is related to the sites content.

Example: If I'm selling an seo site, then that revenue could come from Fiver gigs, banner ads, a single sale, adsense (although not easy using cheap traffic) etc...

The important parts are traffic and revenue. It's up to them to rank their sites for whatever kw's they choose, however since the site is full of (extremely good) spun plr which is copyscape passed then the seo is almost done for them.

In conclusion, I am aiming at newbies who see traffic and money but don't realise there will be work too Wink
